And so it begins!

The past 2 days have been full of fun stuff! Yesterday we went to the PXO's house and he and his wife gave Derek and I a crib and a bath tub! :) They also got us a cute little onesie that says USS Wyoming on it and a gift basket full of different baby clothes. It was so much fun and Derek and I got so excited (read I got so excited) that yesterday and today I've been looking at bedding sets a lot. I'm pretty positive that we've found the set I want at modernnursery.com, and we'll likely be ordering it soon, but there is always the chance that it will get here and I won't like it as much. In which case I'll not hesitate to send it back. I don't see that happening because it's just so cute, but we'll see! We've decided to go with neutral colors, not JUST neutral, but BOLD neutral! I'll show you guys a picture after it's been ordered simply because I may still change my mind! :) Anyhow, just that update for now, but there will be a much better update tomorrow so MAKE SURE YOU CHECK BACK!!!

It's a great day to be alive!

#1. I heard my baby's heartbeat yesterday. 150 bpm sounds great! I'm still predicting girl without cause...we'll see though! All of my questions were answered and I'm working on getting to see a chiropractor for the headaches!

#2. It's just plain gorgeous outside!

#3. I have a tummy full of yummy Chick-fil-a.

#4. I had lunch with a good friend and her son and daughter are freakin' adorable.

#5. My sister loves me! lol As if you guys didn't know that...I think she may actually respect me a little too!

Oh, and tonight I have a feeling that dinner is going to be mucho yumo...that's all...or is it? lol

16 weeks

Yes, today marks week 16 but I will not be posting a picture, simply because I feel like I looked more pregnant at 14 weeks! Dumb, I know, but what can you do? I have an appointment today which I am SO excited for! I finally get a chance to ask the doctor, or midwife, about my headaches and see if we can do something about them. I've had 3 migraines in a short period of time and I've NEVER experienced migraines prior to pregnancy. At least not recurring ones. I'm just excited about finally getting some questions answered and hopefully getting it all straightened out! I may post later today to update you all, but I wouldn't count on it!! :)

For those of you who may not have seen these yet, I'm sure you'll appreciate the man beard as much as I do! Apparently this was halfway night and though it may look like it, they were not playing duck duck goose. Hope you guys enjoy!

14 Week Pictures

Yes, I am 15 weeks this week, but I took pictures last week and haven't posted them yet...so here you go!

My sister took these standing in her office about a week ago, and I have to say, I felt bigger that day than I do now! Weird, I know! But what can you do? I'm starting to feel the anxiety that comes between doctor visits. I just can't wait until the next time I get to hear the heartbeat so that I know that everything is okay and progressing as it should! I think it's all coming from not "feeling" pregnant yet...but I know that will come, but I've been assured the anxiety will probably never go away! I can't wait until Derek gets here though! He's so excited to go through all this with me...boy is he in for a surprise! My morning sickness has let up a lot...I hadn't experienced any in over a week, until this morning. I don't think that its a lingering thing though. It will probably just be a rare occurrence from now on. At least that's what I'm telling myself!! Still no major cravings, although my favorite buy at the grocery store today were Popsicles! Grape, Cherry, and Orange! I've been wanting some for a while I guess so I made that happen today! I'll try to be better about my blog posting but I'm going to quit making futile promises! :) Hope you're all doing great!
