Sick...bleh!

And no, not prego sick...sick sick. but I just had to post quickly today.

Even though my sickness started yesterday, the whole day fought to be an awesome day! Starting with Derek bringing me home a HUGE bouquet of "fallish" flowers! They are so amazing, as is he!!

Then last night as we were laying in bed little Mr. Wesley decided it was time to start dancing! Derek FINALLY got to feel him kick for the first time!! It was incredible to watch his face light up with just a simple jolt of my belly. I loved it though, and it brought tears to my eyes. I was anxiously awaiting the day he'd get to experience the movement too, as was he! Anyhow, I just wanted to share that, now I'm going to go continue resting! :)

I've been tagged...twice...

So in the past 2 days I've been tagged for 2 different things by 2 different people. Today I'll start with the first one that my sister tagged. I guess the premise is just 6 things that make me happy, so here we go!!!

1. Derek Goebel: I mean, this is a given I know, but man, if you know my husband, which most of you do, he probably makes you happy too!! Sometimes he randomly sings songs that make no sense and all and it doesn't matter what mood I'm in, even if I find it semi annoying, in some way it's cute, or as Rita refers to him, quirky!

2. Jackson: I mean seriously, cutest pup on earth! I absolutely love my dog. Yes I know, it's bad, but since Derek has gotten home he's discovered that Jackson likes suckers...happy Halloween little pup! you should see him go to town licking them! And then the red tongue after is too cute for words!

3. Friday: Seriously, there is no work day for me so everyday is a weekend, but Friday's are just so much fun because so far Derek has had tests the last 2 Fridays and when he gets off we get to go hang out! It's usually a lot of fun!

4. Driving with the windows down: Especially during this time of the year. When I'm by myself I crank up the tunes (country during the fall) and just drive...what a good time!

5. Tomatoes: okay, so I'm sure every pregnant woman has their "pregnancy food" and I don't think mine is as strange as sausage dogs, but that's mine, tomatoes, in any form! Salsa, suace of any kind, ketchup...or just sliced... I freakin' love tomatoes!!

6. Holidays: I don't know, this one is kind of a cop out...Derek is putting together a crib in the other room so I want to go help him...but I do love holidays...right now is currently my favorite time of the year! YAY!!
