Christmas

Since we leave tomorrow for our Christmas traveling, Derek and I decided to celebrate early with Wesley. This is his first sight of all his Christmas good.

This picture was taken just before we left for the game against the Redskins Sunday morning. (Wesley stayed with Jon and Jill and apparently had a blast because he knocked out as soon as we headed for home and slept the whole way!) It was a freezing game, literally, the snow from the day before still hadn't melted that night on the way back! But it was so much fun. The Saints stressed us and the abundance of fans there, and watching from home, but in the end they won it in overtime with an interception and a field goal to keep them undefeated! 12-0. Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?!

Oh no, here we go...

This morning Wesley's pediatrician asked me if he was pulling up on things yet. My answer was no...she should ask me again, I bet my answer won't be the same!

I hope this works. Yesterday as we were sitting around the house Wesley got VERY tickled at every little thing Jackson did. Derek wasn't able to get the camera out in time so this is a recreation...that is until Jackson decides to come back into the picture! :)

The following several posts (I had to do it this way with the way I was posting, sorry) are the product of an unexpected (on both sides) but much enjoyed visit with our friend Valerie. She was in town visiting with another friend of hers and had no idea that Derek and I were living here now. (She's been out of the loop with her world travelling self! :)) So when I found out she was here I rushed out to see her (since it was truthfully right next to where I was going anyhow!). She then came over yesterday to meet Wesley and have an impromtu photo shoot. I'd say it was a success all around! I got to catch up with a friend, see a familiar face from home, and got some photos of my beautiful boy that make me cry!!!! Yesterday was a good day indeed! :) Enjoy the photos!
