12 weeks

Okay so these are by far not the most flattering pictures I've ever taken, but give me a break, I'm having to do them myself...Today I am entering my 13th week of pregnancy, making me 12 weeks total and I'm feeling oh so large...and looking it too if I might say so! I had an appointment this morning where I heard the heartbeat for the first time. Joann was very pleased with the heartbeat, it's right at 160 bpm which is apparently in her words, perfect! She is also very happy with the way I'm progressing...I was called normal for maybe the first time ever!! I'm so excited about the way everything is going, except for the sickness. I have been fine until a few weeks ago when morning/all day sickness became my constant companion. I'm definitely doing everything I can to keep it at bay, and some days are better than others, but everyday I make it through! I can't wait for Derek to be home and to be an active part of all this with me! He's going to be such an amazing dad! He's already the best husband in the world...definitely the best I've ever had!! (Insert chuckle here!)

Anyhow, I'm going to go ahead and tell you my prediction...I think it's a girl. I have no reason for this other than I just have a feeling. Anyone else have an opinion? We should be finding out at the end of October, so you have until then to make your preditions! lol Anyhow, enjoy the pictures...and again, don't judge...I'm not a photographer, nor am I photogenic! :)
