What is your job title?

I have been asked this question many times in my life and since "technically" I haven't had a job since Derek and I got married, my answer has become "Domestic Engineer". Oh yes, and that's simply because it makes me feel educated! :)

So you ask, what does a domestic engineer do? (other than wash babies with the laundry!)

We make our own baby food!! :)

These are only what I've canned. 8 jars of carrots, 4 of butternut squash. And in the freezer, in ice cube trays are more butternut squash and some acorn squash! I love that it's getting closer to fall and the squash is pretty darn fresh. Even without any seasoning it's still slammed with flavor! I hope Wesley likes fall flavors because his momma does, and she's going to stuff him with it!!

Oh, and did I mention that Wesley slept for the entire 2 hour nap today to give me time to do all this?! What an amazing kiddo we have!

Yum! So far, Will loves the fall/winter squashes. I don't do the fancy shmancy canning though! That's pretty cool.

I'm extremely impressed. Maybe you can teach me how to do that. You go girl.
